You can download our videos in 2 sizes, 1280×720 and 720×408, the video format is .mp4. The average running time is between 20 and 30 minutes per scene, but we do have scenes that are as long as 70-80 minutes. Should you have more questions, please post them here or on our support site and we will get back to you ;)

Finally, STAXUS seems to be seriously building up the kind of premium website that its content deserves.I’m a huge fan of your “classic” movies produced by AVI productions, and now I’m trying to get used to the “new look” with John Smith as director. What gets me excited about the website is that apparently you have included extensive image galleries…all those years it was photos that I missed so much – with each DVD I was hoping for behind the scenes material or more stills of models, action scenes or making of- shots.
But: it seems I cannot get access to your content as you only offer membership by credit card transaction. Too bad. Are there plans for additional payment options in the near future ?

I like the diversity of content included in this site since videos are classified in 10 different sites. So you always find something of your likes. I also like The average running time of videos, between 20 and 30 minutes, what is good to enjoy videos will all details from the beginning to the end. I have checked you can download videos in 2 sizes, 1280×720 and 720×408. I think it’s a big difference between them because you may find the 1st option too heavy for your computer and the 2nd one too poor. So I miss a good quality intermediate option such as 960×540 (most of sites offer it). Finally, it would be great you included more screen shots of videos to check exactly beforehand what you are going to find, since photos of the gallery show shots which do not correspond with the movie.

Thank you very much for the kind comments. We will have to see about the intermediate download option, if we get more requests for that, we will add it. So far the site is still young and we are making a list of suggestions we receive from members and add them in a queue to make it better!

Regarding the forum, I think it is a brilliant idea to be included in the site Staxus.com. All members could give opinions, suggestions for scenes and to improve the site. Very useful to know members’ likes and to make our membership more enjoyable.
Apart from the forum and video ratings, I miss some comments regarding scenes. In that way you could say what you liked more of the scene, what you did not like, what you would change or also a suggestion for a new scene. Comments close to each video could be useful for members in order to get an idea of it taking into account others’ opinions.

Don’t you intend to offer the downloadable videos in WMV and QuickTime formats? They are easier and faster to reproduce than MP4 format. Thank you so much.
It is on our list and we will have WMV at some point, however QuickTime is useless as MP4 runs smoothly on all Apple devices.
I cannot say for sure when we will offer WMV’s, we keep a long list of things to do based on our customers requests and right now the Staxus Forum is top priority (we aim to have it ready very soon).
I am also thinking of starting some kind of post-and-vote type of tool where users post what they want to have / see on Staxus, other members vote up or down the choices and based on that we figure out what to do next to make you guys happy.
We’ve just launched the website, it’s 3 months old and as much as we’d wish to make all of you happy, we don’t have 1000 developers in our team so we need to take it slow and do it well :)

I agree our friend JAG. WMV videos offer good compression and quality, and wide compatibility with Windows PCs, they are a very good option. Regarding QuickTime format, I think it is also more capable of excellent compression and quality, and compatible with all Macs and most of PCs.
But I have a question. In my computer, besides WMV and QuickTime, I have a couple of players which suppor different video formats, but when playing your videos in MP4 they play slowly and stop (image and sound), also it happens to videos of a lower quality. Do you suggest some good video player for the videos in your site for my Window PC? Thank you.

First of all welcome to Staxus and thank you for your feedback. As I mentioned earlier, we will have WMV’s on Staxus soon!
To answer your question – try a free player like GOM Player or VLC Player (you can google both) and I’m sure the playback will be smooth.
I can’t say exactly why you are experiencing this slow play on downloaded videos, this is usually the case with streaming on lower bandwidths.
Perhaps you can try downloading the medium sized formats and see if those play fine?

I have tried with the GOM Player, I have just installed it in my computer. Now my downloaded videos from Staxus play smothly, no more stops of image or sound. It’s great! So my problem was I didn’t have a proper player to see your MP4 videos in a good way. Thanks again and I hope your site gets better and better, the variety of content is fantastic. Surely the forum will be a good place to collect all likes and suggestions from members.

Sportladz is one of my favourite sites. It is very nice to watch nice boys or athletes in different sport wear and shoes. So I suggest more variety of content in movies as far as clothes is concerned (kits, shorts, lycra, tight wear, speedos, trainers, jockstraps…), and also more variety of indoor or outdoors activities (not always football or soccer) such as wrestling, swimming, fighting, cycling, gym workout, gymnastics, basketball, camping, apart from other hot activites related to training lessons, sport full massages, nice physical check ups… Good job with the other sites, but with these elementes I would like sportladz still more.

I always downloaded the low quatity videos, since I used to watch them in my computer. But now I have tried with the 1280×720 high resolution, and I must admit these large mp4 videos play smoothly, and they offer a very good image quality to be enjoyed with a big screen, such as my TV. What about the forum classified by topics where everybody can discuss and share suggestions? I write again about it because I like the idea of a forum, apart from the blog, since we can get collected in the same place all members’ opinions or suggestions for scenes in order to improve the site. Also we could add our own pools in an easy way to make our membership more enjoyable, even insert some pictures (mainly from staxus.com) to illustrate our text. Now we find comments disseminated somewhere in the blog or the different sites, very hard to see all together or to know others’ proposals. Do you think you can get it ready quite soon? Thank you.

I have a question.
I have just watched the movie “An amazing fuck” with Rudy Valentino and Kevin Ateah. The video is nice, but what a bad thing pictures show a hot outdoor fucking and it does not appear during the movie. The outdoor part is only the sucking portion. I say this because outdoor pictures promise a hotter scene, and it is a pity you do not find those shots in the video. Actually this happens to other movies: shots shown in pictures are not found in videos. What can you say? Thank you.

Well we do the photo shootings separately from the video shoots. Because we want to get nice, big looking photos from different angles and lightning and that just isn’t always possible during the video shooting when we are focused on the action.
Also, sometimes we take the photos the day before the shooting, or we take all the photos in one day and then we do the videos in the next 4-5 days. It depends from scene to scene and from movie to movie.
I agree with you that the scene might have been hotter outdoors. And that the photos promise a thing and the video delivers another (we also had this on a dentist scene some while ago where the photos show a threesome but the video is actually a vanilla scene). But we don’t want the photo galleries to be previews of videos. We want them to be treated as such – a nice photo gallery, with professional photos at larger resolution, that are independent from the video scene itself.
If the gallery’s purpose was to be a preview to the video, we would be feeding you screen grabs like other studios do and not big photos.
Also, keep in mind sometimes the photos don’t reflect the video from other reasons. For example we start taking photos & shoot the video, then all of the sudden one of the models looses his hard-on or just can’t shoot because he is distracted. Then we are forced to delay the video and even shoot it the next day, but we are left with the photos we already took. So naturally the photo gallery and the video won’t be a perfect match. Perhaps this was the case with this scene, we started to shoot outdoors then something happened and we had to cut the fucking and move it indoors, but we kept the sucking part.
I’m sorry if you feel we promise something and deliver another thing but usually the photo gallery reflects the scene, not on this one however :(

We started taking the photos before the video. Then when we started to shoot the video scene rain started. At first it was ok (you can see easy rain during the outdoor sucking) but then it started pouring and we couldn’t stay outside. So we moved indoors and finished the video.

The ‘sound problem’ has been already the subject in some other discussions in this blog.
As already written: most of the movies from the British Staxus department, directed by Michael Burling, have sensitive, gentle noises; sometimes only subtle breathing, which I personally consider as close to reality as possible.
The Czech productions however, directed by John Smith, contain sometimes exaggerated, stilted, asynchronous moaning. Not so overdone as in so many poisoned Belami movies from Bratislava, but still annoying and insensitive from time to time. Also the noises during blowjobs, when a cock plops out of a mouth, are not always natural.
One more thing: please tell director Michael Burling that his models should pull their socks off. In the recent release – the James Bond parody ‘Spyball’ – you can see a scene photo of a threeway with newbie Connor Levi – and all three actors wear black socks during the fucking…. :(

Not sure what scenes you are referring to but John Smith doesn’t add artificial moaning on the background. Neither does Michael Burling.
Vlado Iresch used to do that, but not our new directors.
On John Smith’s video scenes sometimes the sound is not synchronised with the video for a few seconds because he cuts his voice from the audio background. So you don’t hear “Now suck. Suck harder” on the background :)
So thats why the sound sometimes doesn’t match the video for a few seconds. But he never added any “extra” sounds just to make the scene better because we know it doesn’t.

Of course, in older Vlado Iresh flicks you can find several examples of unnatural dubbings.
Though, I’m sure that also in a few scenes of John Smith some noises are added later.
This goes for example for the recently mentioned new group scene with Timmy Taylor. Or watch the second scene in ‘Bareback Vibes’ with Jack Cameron & Andy Rube: Their moaning is rather subtle and not annoying or particularly unnatural. But you have to be no professional lip reader to make out some asynchronies. Parts of their noises are obviously added separately.
And in he beginning of the blowjob between George Basten and Will Sims in the same movie, just when the cock plops out of the mouth for the first time, the noise is truely overdone and unreal.
Because I’ve just watched that movie again, some more remarks:
Comparing not only the sound but also the camera work and editing of John Smith against Michael Burling:
Mr. Smith still works with too many changes & shifts, with too much cuts & close-ups.
Michael Burling uses usually longer, more atmospheric takes, captures the faces & emotions of his models better.
All this – together with the often natural, subtle sound in the English Staxus productions – makes Michael Burling for me the most convincing European gayporn director of today.
If only his models would fuck without socks…. ;)

Regard the sound, I agree to keep it as natural as possible. Most of times a bit quiet video is still better than a loud one with boring moaning or unnatural dubbing. I love the live sound, especially in outdoors.
Regarding socks, I like boys keep them but together with their sneakers on, boys are sexier in that way. I admit not everybody may like to see the action with only socks on (without trainers or sneakers).

Personally I prefer natural sound from the guys, it just sounds more “real” to me. I’ve watched a few films where the sounds are so fake it sounds like monkeys having sex, and thats the last thing I want in my films.
With regards to the sock debate, I guess its personal preference. Again personally I think in a scally/chav movie, leaving white socks on is quite horny and fits with the theme. Also in football themed movies keeping the socks on works.
At the moment though the “socks off” side is winning, so from now on it will be socks off !!

I would like to know what you think about DivX format for videos. I have checked they offer a very good quality and they are becoming more and more popular, probably for full DVDs. I like to see my favourite scenes on my HD TV, so with full screen I see how DivX videos fit perfectly to the screen, no details are lost. However with MP4s (very good quality too) I see how part of the movie is lost with full screen since you only see half of the logo of Staxus. This little trouble doesn’t happen on the computer or smaller screens. What do you think about this video format? They play smoothly with GOM Player. Thanks.

The problem with Dvix encoding is that it doesn’t play on all devices. Mp4 works on virtually anything, from PCs to TVs, from Mac’s to Android devices.The quality of the encoding is the same in both cases. So we opt for h264 codec with MP4 format because it is the most compatible one we can use.
If you loose a part of the movie on your TV, try using the 16:9 button on your remote, it should fix it.
Also – some of the members download the scenes then burn them on DVDs to watch them on their DVD players or Blu Ray players on TVs. We know from experience that not all Dvix encoded movies work on all DVD players but MP4 does.
So it’s simply a matter of compatibility – MP4 is the most versatile format and it plays on anything hence this is what we are using.

First of all – a big thank you from the entire Staxus team for your feedback and positive comments. We are glad to hear you guys think Staxus.com is professional and a great site, we strive to achieve that and become better day by day.
To answer your question – We are and will always be a bareback producer. All our Czech production and a part of our British production is and will always be raw. However there are models in the UK (e.g. Luke Desmond) that will never agree to do bareback. So from time to time, because they are popular and people want to see them, we shoot some condom scenes with some of these popular Brits.
The content will always be some 90% bareback, only some scenes that we shoot in the UK will feature condoms. But I think it’s a small price to pay as we have 1 condom scene every 20 bareback scenes or so – there’s plenty of raw action to choose from and the few condom scenes allow us to feature models that are appreciated but will never agree on bareback action.

I am the Staxus producer here in the UK and whilst yes ideally we would love to have every scene as a bareback scene it is not always possible here in the UK. The UK by nature is a mainly condom market and the vast majority of the sites here in the UK are condom only sites. That also means that the models here in the UK do predominately condom scenes and a lot are reluctant to do bareback work
I have found by experience that once a UK model builds a relationship with a director they are then more likely to go on and do bareback scene for us. This means that we do need to do some condom scenes in order to recruit the best models over here. If we try and push them straight into bareback then a lot of them would just go elsewhere and we end up losing some potentially great models.
I think you will agree that it is important for us here at Staxus to get the best models, not only in mainland Europe but also here in the UK, and therefore being able to offer that initial condom scene to a hot new model is important.
There are also some models here who just wont do bareback full stop, eg Luke Desmond, so again it is important to us to be able to offer the best models work, even if it is condomed. Again I’m sure you will agree that having the best models working for Staxus is in our interests, even if it means having to have a condomed scene. Luke Desmond again for example is a really popular model and had we not shot condomed scenes with him, we would never have had him here on Staxus.
I hope that explains a bit why we do condom scenes here in the UK and the advantage of still being able to do them.

So in the long term, the original car maker, with tradition and loyal customers, will go bankrupt as it can’t compete with something free and the pirate builds his own company and takes his clients away. I have just watched the new film “Fantasy Football” starring Justin Conway, Milian Sharp and other hot models. The first scene, we get to the anal sex, but it is ruined due to what I will say is either complete lack of concern for the consumer or just incompetence or both. In regards to the forum. We are very busy rebuilding Staxus. Around early April we’ll have a brand new version of Staxus and a brand new Staxus Blog. We will integrate parts of the forum within the blog, which will be much larger than the existing one.
I cannot give many details now, you guys will have to wait just a bit longer and we will soon unveil Staxus v2 and the brand new community together with it.
