But I think it goes further than this too. American gay porn, on the whole, is the same thing over and over again. It’s the same guys, all a little *too perfect*, doing the same things. The imagination behind their scenes is severely lacking. While it is hot to see straight jocks being serviced, there’s no need to have ten sites all doing this, with no stories, no themes, no interesting settings, no real production to the action. Anyone can make porn like that given enough money and access to models.

Staxus (and a minority of American sites) do things a little differently and are seeing the fans respond to it. Making it “more Human”, for want of a better phrase, means the fans actually connect rather than just watch.

It’s no accident that the most popular sites seem to have a following, a community, and add more to their scenes than just filming two guys doing the predictable.
